GO WITH THE FLOW AND TRAVEL BY CANAL

Navigating along the canals is a unique and rewarding experience. At six km / hour, the maximum speed authorised for these boats requiring no licence. One rediscovers the virtues of taking life slowly, enjoying the passing of time and savouring every moment. All this takes place in the setting of the Canal de Briare, Canal du Loing and Canal Latéral à la Loire taking you from the Loire to the Seine, and even right through to Burgundy. Penetrate into the heart of the countryside and enjoy a unique view of the landscapes , nature, villages alongside.

Departures from :
Briare : The Pont-Canal de Briare is a prestigious navigational site, being the longest European canal aqueduct. A listed historical site and a part of France’s heritage, its spans 662 m and streches across the Loire between Puisaye and Berry.

Rogny-les-Sept-Ecluses : The Loing and the canal serve as the décor for this venue. Nearby Montbouy and its gallo roman vestiges, Rogny-Les-Sept-Ecluses is famous for its impressive step-like locks.

Châtillon-sur-Loire : This ancient dominion of the counts of Sancerre has conserved all of the charm of the houses and streets surrounding the ancient chateau gaillard ; the Mantelot locks, a listed site, is ideal for walking and cycling.
